Normal does not always mean right.

A conversation about the everyday behavior we stopped questioning—and the courage it takes to question it again.

Uncle Tuck's Take

We get used to things a little at a time. A cruel joke gets a pass. Disrespect gets called honesty. Silence starts looking easier than speaking up.

Normalize is a reminder that common and acceptable are not the same thing. We can name what is wrong, hold one another accountable, and still leave room for people to do better.

Common is not the same as acceptable.
